Loan Examiner reviews or audits a loan portfolio of low complexity loans to ensure compliance with established laws and regulations. Analyzes loans to identify deficiencies, unsupported charges, and risk levels. Being a Loan Examiner establishes authenticity and correctness of all records including transactions and other forms of documentation. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Loan Examiner typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Loan Examiner works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. As a Customer Service Loan Specialist , you will be the face of Sun Loan, interacting daily with our customers both in-person and over the phone.
In our small team environment, each person plays an important role in the company's success, supporting customers within the community in problem-solving their financial needs.
Job duties include :
- Assess customer’s loan needs and provide valuable solutions.
- Process new loans and manage communication regarding account status.
- Execute collection calls on overdue accounts.
- Generate new sales leads through marketing and community networking.
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have availability to work :
- Fridays 8 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm.
- Saturdays 8 : 30 am -12 : 30 pm (rotational basis related to office needs).
- Some overtime may be required.
- No Sundays!
