Loan Examiner Manager manages a team of loan examiners responsible for credit and loan auditing and examination. Ensures procedures are followed and all loan policy guidelines are appropriately applied. Being a Loan Examiner Manager contributes to or leads more complex exams. Mentors, trains, and assesses the examination team. Additionally, Loan Examiner Manager may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Loan Examiner Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Loan Examiner Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.   • BASIC FUNCTION:

    Provide service to bank customers by conducting appropriate transactions and meeting the needs of customers by referring them to appropriate departments in the bank.

    $37,440 - $39,540 - Starting Salary Range

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

    • Receive checking and savings deposits; verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back, and issue receipts of deposit.
    • Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements.
    • Process savings withdrawals.
    • Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses to the bank.
    • Balance cash drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
    • Buy and sell currency from the vault as necessary, ensuring that teller drawer cash limits are not exceeded.
    • Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
    • Accept loan payments: verify payment amount and issue receipts.
    • Identifying and selling Yakima Federal products and services beneficial to the customers’ needs.
    • Follow all bank policies and procedures.
    • Stay current of compliance regulatory issues, through ongoing training, as they pertain to duties.

    Employees accrue 8 hours of sick leave per month, 40 hours of vacation after 6 months, 80 hours of vacation annually after 1 year of employment (vacation accruals increase depending on years of service), and receive approximately 11 paid holidays per year. Plus, our employees enjoy a set schedule Monday through Friday with NO WEEKEND hours!

    Salary range for our Tellers is $37,440-$48,768 yearly. “Other Compensation” includes a Semi-Annual Incentive Program payout and employer funded Defined Pension Plan in addition to an employee’s base salary.

    TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Previous teller experience or 2 years cash handling experience.
    • Prior Customer Service experience.
