MortgageDepot (NMLS #1133788) a rapidly growing multistate mortgage broker, is seeking an experienced Bengali speaking, Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO) Assistant to work closely with our high producing Loan Officers. This individual will be responsible for assisting Loan Originators and clients in the loan application process.

• Provide administrative support to the Loan Originator and Loan Processors (i.e., answer calls, manage calendars, schedule meetings and copy, fax and file documents, etc.)
• Communicate general information to prospective applicants and delegate complex questions to applicable individuals/departments.
• Request and collect documents from borrowers under the guidance of Loan Processors.
• Input application data collected by Loan Processor into the system and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with the review of complex files to identify issues and to apply solutions before submission for processing.
• Assists with handling sales and marketing promotions.
• Initiates required verifications for customers.
• Perform other administrative/clerical duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in Bengali
• One year experience as loan coordinator/processor preferred but not required
• One year financial services experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Proactive and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Tech-savvy and advanced computer skills. Proficient in MS Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
