Position Summary:
The position of team dining room supervisor will report to property Executive Sous Chef and provide supervision in the team dining room with steps of service and cleanliness. Display excellent customer service skills and business etiquette. Performs responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Supervisor will work with TDR attendants on portion control, cleanliness and beverage service.
3. Will work with executive steward on daily, weekly, monthly cleaning schedule.
4. Maintain an inventory of trays, plates, bowls, cups, silverware for TDR.
5. Create, update and maintain a La Texanita menu bible.
6. Asses equipment in all outlets for repairs and replacement. Smallwares and large equipment included.
7. Contact new hire candidates to establish a start date and set up training material.
8. Set up educational sessions for the culinary team. i.e. wok training with boathouse, monterey seafood tour, Superior meat tour,
in house knife skills, knife sharpening, meat cookery, fish cookery etc.
9. Check ADP for FMLA approvals and send out emails to impacted managers. Update all Team Member work history cards and
Team Member attendance tracker to reflect the FMLA approval.
10. Attend monthly safety meetings and report workplace hazards.
11. Place requests for work orders and follow up on completion.
