We have openings for two 1st shift Food Production Ingredient Compounders at our beautiful manufacturing facility in Greenwood. First shift hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Pay, for 1st shift, is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience. Some overtime may be required. Compensation includes full benefits after 30 days.

Food Production Ingredient Compounders weigh, measure and stage various dry and liquid ingredients in preparation of the next day's production.

Duties include:

• Scale up various raw material ingredients to specified quantities.
• Maintain location accuracy for all raw materials in the set room.
• Issue all raw materials that the job calls for prior to batching.
• Assure accurate cycle counts.
• Verify jobs such that all raw materials are issued and placed on each individual pallet prior to batching.
• Return all raw materials that are not going to be used to a restocking location.
• Maintain a clean and organized set room environment.

Skills required are: experience with scales and handheld scanners; ability to use a calculator for simple addition and multiplication; team-work oriented; self-starter; dependable; responsible; attention to detail; good communication skills; ability to lift and pour 50 pounds; can stand and walk for long periods of time; ability to work in an alert and safe manner; ability to communicate in English with co-workers in a respectful manner; ability to work overtime as needed; high school diploma or equivalent. Experience preferred in a food manufacturing production environment.
