About the Job

CDS Logistics is seeking a talented and motivated Power BI Developer/Analyst to join the CDS team. As a Power BI expert, you will be a member of the Information Technology team and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights to the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and create data visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making throughout all levels within our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Power BI, data modeling, a good understanding of business processes and excellent communication skills.

Power BI Analyst:

Essential Job Functions

• Design, develop, and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet the needs of various business units.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.
• Develop data models, relationships, and calculations to ensure data accuracy and integrity in Power BI.
• Optimize and tune Power BI reports for performance and usability through close partnership with internal customers.
• Monitor and maintain existing Power BI solutions, troubleshooting and resolving issues as needed.
• Collaborate with the technology team to access and transform data from various sources into usable formats for Power BI.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure that the Power BI implementation meets enterprise data security and compliance standards.
• Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models.
• Provide thought leadership, best practices, and standards required to deliver effective and sustainable solutions to the business.
• Provide training and support to end-users on using Power BI and interpreting visualizations effectively.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  Proven experience (1 years) as a Power BI Developer, Analyst, or similar role preferred.
• Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Logic Apps, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agents, Dataverse etc.)
• Experience in data modeling, data visualization, and report development.
• Proficient in SQL and database querying.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security protocol as outlined by the Microsoft Power Platform best practices/governance and assign permissions using appropriate protocol/SOPs.
