    Description

    The Logistics Analyst reports to the Plant Manager, and has the following responsibilities: 

     

    • Set an example as a champion of safety & environmental compliance, participate in the office safety team, complete inspections and training.
    • Schedule all package shipments for all areas and manage all paperwork.
    • Connect with and schedule third party carriers to ensure on time delivery of product to customers.
    • Manage plant cycle counting, communicate and ensure compliance with all plant policies and procedures and maintain appropriate records. 
    • Monitors local carrier performance and participates in carrier improvement efforts with 3rd Party Logistics provider.Manage.
    • MRP settings and order all raw materials for the site.
    • Manage relationships with raw materials vendors.
    • Communicate any changes to vendors & raw materials to the site.
    • Manage all office supplies, office equipment, uniforms, and other supplies for the site.
    • Manage RedZone and support SMOG reduction efforts.
    • Set-up annual blanket Purchase Order’s for the site
    • Support other sites as needed.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:  

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 3 years’ of operations experience in a manufacturing environment 
    • Knowledge of manufacturing operations, and equipment usage. 
    • Must possess good written and oral communication skills and be able to work with all levels of management. 
    • Proficiency using with Microsoft Office: Word, Outlook, and Excel 
    • Enterprise software experience. 
    • Knowledge of safe work practices and environmental regulations. 
    • Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Ability to effectively interact with plant personnel, third party logistics team and carriers, and internal functional groups.  
    • Basic skills in English (writing and speaking) 

    Preferred Requirements: 

    • SAP Experience
    • Demonstrated customer service skills and mindset.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority. 
    • Demonstrated facilitation across stakeholder groups to achieve resolution of issues and consensus.
