How you will contribute to LifeNet Health’s success:
Supervises all inventory control activities to ensure accurate inventory transactions. Responsible for ensuring Quality Inspection testing meets regulatory requirements and delivery of materials to production and/or internal customers are timely. Train personnel, sets performance goals, organizes & assigns work to maintain a productive work environment. Ensures support requests are filled upon receipt and as scheduled. Responsible for vehicle and department equipment maintenance and upkeep.
Important: This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, walk and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of the shift; as well as wear personal protective equipment to include: surgical gowns, masks, visors or goggles and caps.
This role is critical to the LifeNet Health mission because it is an important step in taking the donor’s gifts and transitioning them to lifesaving and health restoring allografts for patients around the globe.
What you’ll do:
- LEADERSHIP: Provides oversight to assigned team by supervising, guiding and directing employees to be effective team members. Ensures that everyone is equipped with the right skills, tools, and talents necessary for executing their duties. Using the established people processes (performance, development, succession, and career) to ensure that their team’s level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards. Manages the day-to-day operations of all supplies inventory, unprocessed donor inventory and general support services function. Manages the inventory of materials by applying fundamental inventory control techniques, monitoring stock levels and stock locations and coordinating required adjustments with purchasing and/or production.
- INVENTORY: Ensures that the receipts, quality inspections and issuance of supplies and
unprocessed donors are performed properly and comply with regulatory standards and implements changes as necessary. Monitors, analyzes and evaluates inventory management data by reviewing routine inventory reports including excess and idle stock, inventory turnover, customer service usage, safety stock reports and inventory capacity/forecasts then recommending actions to maximize inventory efficiency and materials availability. - SUPPORT SERVICES: Ensures timely delivery of interdepartmental mail and supplies and receives and distributes frozen tissue and other non-inventory items accurately and in a timely manner. Oversees and ensures handling and disposal of biohazardous waste is performed in accordance with established procedures. Receives, stores, and distributes hazardous chemicals accurately in a timely manner and maintains Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies. Oversees and ensures the safe operation/s of assigned trucks, vans, forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment for the storage and transportation of supplies and equipment in the warehouse and between other LifeNet Health locations.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Establishes procedure for inventory control, quality inspection and warehousing operations to promote efficiency, quality and productive processes. Recommends improvements to the inventory processes by identifying critical path problem areas, communicates and coordinates corrective actions with purchasing, production and management.
What you’ll bring (Minimum Requirements):
- High School or GED
- Valid State Driver’s License
- 6 years Warehousing, Storeroom, or Inventory experience
- 3 years Supervisory experience with direct reports
- 2 years Quality Control in Receiving Inspection
- 2 years Inventory Database experience
- 1 year Experience as a Forklift Operator
Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:
- Forklift Certification or Certified Forklift Operator

The pay range for the successful candidate located in our Renton, WA facility will depend on the candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. The pay range for this position in Renton, WA is $28.55 hourly (entry-level qualifications) to $47.58 hourly (experienced in this role)*. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on certain criteria being met.
