SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Summary:
Responsible for all activities related to customer deliveries, reception of raw materials and finished products. As well as maintain of carrier and raw material non-conformance. Demonstrates ownership in plant and food safety, including all regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Process delivery notes, create pick lists and distribute to warehouse operators.
- Provide support to customer services, warehouse and traffic department, print / scan BOL - COAs
- Process Service complaints and returns as related to logistics through resolution, working with customer services and quality department.
- Support and participate of inventory activities.
- Post goods issues and maintain accurate information in the system as Champion of OTIF requirements for the site.
- Review shortage report in daily basis.
- Arrange liquid load trucks for customer deliveries.
- Report tracing and tracking shipments for internal and external customers.
- Comply with all ISO procedures and participate in audits as required.
- Communicate carrier compliance issues and service levels.
- Maintain updated work instruction manuals.
- Expedite explained report for Hershey, CHEP and Preloads.
- Cross-trained to cover other supply chain positions as need.
- Committed to providing a safe food product.
- Works within all regulatory requirements.
- Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety and food defense requirements.
- Booking TMS preloads and managing preload according to the Liquid load outs.
- Experience in Yard Jockey is a plus.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Work Experience:
- Associates degree in logistics or a related field or a combination of education and experience equal to five years.
- Computer Skills (Proficient use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SAP, VMware)
- Customer service skills
- Detail & results oriented
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work with deadlines
- Works well in a team as well as independently
