Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping, has an immediate opportunity for a logistics clerk/ Repack operator in our Sylacauga, Alabama Stamping Facility. The logistics clerk/repack operator is responsible for repacking parkts and verifying parts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repacking all required production parts.
• Responsible for verifying parts against Master Samples in order to verify correct part number
• Responsible for correctly matching part number and master sample to finished good label
• Must be able to work independently and complete tasks with a minimum of instruction
• Must understand that Repack is a production job and not a make-work project; parts must be repacked according to a standard rate just like any other production position
• Must be able to create and reintroduce partial bins into the finished goods bank

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have some computer background, in order to learn CMS, Shipping and scanner systems
• Must have excellent attendance record and be willing to work overtime on short notice
• Willing to learn all aspects of Shipping and Receiving
• Must have good (legible) handwriting, as most Shipping records are handwritten and are subject to review
• Must understand that shipments are top priority (breaks and lunch cannot always be taken at appointed time
  

Preferred Qualification:

• Prior fork lift experience
