As a Logistics Specialist I, you will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, and transporting parts using defined processes. You'll maintain inventory through the use of Materials Management Accounting System (MMAS), and for generating / manipulating reports using Microsoft Office and internal business intelligence software. You will maintain compliance by documenting all transactions and part movements. You'll learn applicable state, federal, and global regulations and import / export requirements.

Must-haves:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 0-2 years of experience
• A higher level degree may substitute for experience
• Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
• Customer service skills
• The ability to lift 50lbs. and successfully pass a DOT physical that includes a baseline audiogram and a vision test is required
• A current driver’s license and satisfactory driving record is required
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Preferred:

• HazMat Training/Certification
• Ability to operate a Forklift
