Basic Function
The Maintenance Technician performs routine and preventative maintenance, diagnostics/troubleshooting, and repair on vehicles for which a maintenance request has been received, including Company and owner/operator tractors and trailers, as well as equipment purchased by the Company. All maintenance and repairs on equipment are performed with driver and vehicle safety is the primary focus, including compliance with all DOT standards. This position also completes any welding necessary for repairs and upkeep of equipment.
