Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments. Your meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment will be vital to our daily operations.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments of goods and materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
• Inspect received items for quality, quantity, and any potential damage or discrepancies; report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, invoices, or other relevant documentation.
• Accurately input data related to received items into the warehouse management system (WMS) or inventory database.
• Label, sort, and organize received goods for storage, ensuring they are placed in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies between received items and purchase orders.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other relevant departments to coordinate the timely movement of received items.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move and store received items as needed.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all aspects of the receiving process.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting efficiency-enhancing measures.
