Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Director ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Logistics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Our team performs grounds maintenance activities to maintain and improve the landscape of the VA Hospital in Biloxi, as well as other local sites, and we are committed to ensuring the landscape of our clients’ facilities are well-maintained.
Compensation and Benefits
For your safety, you should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be familiar with the operation of grounds maintenance equipment such as standing lawn mowers, weed eaters and more. The ability to withstand inclement weather and work outdoors is essential. Additionally, you must have reliable transportation to ensure the grounds are serviced appropriately.
