Responsibilities:
· Follow policies, procedures, safe work practices, Health and Safety standards, Food Safety and Quality standards, and use of PPE
· Report near misses/incidents/accidents resulting in personal injury or property damage
· Proper handling of finished product totes and raw materials, adhering to safety conditions
· Staging finished products for shipping to customers
· Receiving raw materials and packaging, verifying tote numbers or batch numbers and quantities are correct and recorded
· Follow FIFO principles for raw materials and ensure storage requirements are met
Requirements:
· Minimum 1-2 years of Shipping / Receiving experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
· Licenced to drive forklifts and experience using material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and walkies
· Knowledge of GMPs preferred
· Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn for extended periods of time
· Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
· Must be safety and quality conscious
· Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
· Flexibility is required due to business needs; advanced notice will be given
