SUMMARY:

The Director of Warehouse Logistics oversees all facets of warehouse operations, managing multiple locations, inventory, distribution, transportation, and logistics strategies for all Accel Entertainment equipment. This role demands strong leadership to efficiently manage teams, optimize processes, and ensure a smooth flow of goods through the supply chain.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Optimization:

• Develop and implement warehouse strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate logistics activities, ensuring a seamless flow of goods.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a culture of excellence through hiring, training, and team building.
• Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring compliance with Illinois Gaming Board regulations for a safe working environment.

Analytical Insight:

• Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions for enhanced warehouse performance.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to measure and track warehouse efficiency.

Logistical Coordination:

• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Optimize warehouse layout, equipment, and technology for efficiency and scalability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred. 
• Proven experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other logistics software. 
• Familiarity with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus. 
• Ability to analyze data and metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Minimum of 21 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board
