Logistics Director manages all aspects of an organization's logistics management function to control, deliver, and distribute products and materials to the destination. Implements an overall strategy, metrics, and processes to deploy an optimized logistic network and operations. Being a Logistics Director oversees critical and related inventory, distribution, and transportation operations that support the achievement of organizational goals and KPI's for product delivery and customer satisfaction. Selects vendors and negotiates rates and service levels and monitors performance. Additionally, Logistics Director ensures compliance with all regulations governing transportation of goods. Utilizes analytics to monitor and measure performance, identify problems in operations, and achieve high performance at optimal cost. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Logistics Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Logistics Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Job Summary:

    This position is responsible for setting up trade show booths and packing for safe transit. Upon return, all booth components will be inspected and stored properly. This position is responsible for completely and accurately maintaining reports and inventory records utilizing our database software. In addition to computer skills, this position requires a “hands on” person with the ability to safely operate a forklift.

    Essential Functions:

    • Follow instructions for each task assigned by Supervisor.
    • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to help ensure work is completed accurately and consistently across the department.
    • Accurately maintain records of all reports and inventory updates.
    • Assemble displays from setup instructions.
    • Pack contents of booth in a safe and secure manner for transit.
    • Document locations, quantities, etc. of all items in reports.
    • Ensure all crates are labeled / stenciled appropriately.
    • Ensure all inventory items are labeled with ID# and entries are complete and accurate, have photographic documentation, etc.
    • Ensure complete and accurate Inspection information is recorded, with particular attention paid to recording damages and providing useful photographic documentation of such.
    • Assist team members as needed.
    • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation and all work areas, aisles, etc.
    • Safely operate forklift trucks.
    • Be able to safely lift 75 pounds.
    • Be able to work overtime as required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • High School diploma
    • Knowledge of inventory control procedures
    • Experience with computerized inventory systems
    • Ability to accurately and consistently follow all Standard Operating Procedures
    • Ability to organize tasks and work independently to meet deadlines
    • Ability to multitask
    • Strong communication skills
    • Positive, cooperative and team-oriented attitude
    • Attention to detail a must
    • Forklift experience preferred
    • Handyman skills a plus
    • Valid Drivers License required

    Benefits:

    • Paid Leave: Employee’s Paid Leave consists of time to be used for vacation, personal business, or sick leave. Employees from their 1st to 5th anniversary will receive 20 days of Paid Leave. Starting with their 6th anniversary, they will accrue an additional day until their 20th anniversary, for a total of 35.
    • Holidays: Employees receive 9 paid holidays, including: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and 2 days each for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
    • Incentive Compensation Bonus Plan: Full-time employees (non-commission) who have worked at least a quarter of the year are eligible for the incentive compensation bonus plan. Bonuses are calculated in the 4th quarter and are based on the performance of the company.
    • 401k Retirement Plan: Employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401k retirement plan after 1 year of service. Creatacor matches 100% of the first 4% of your contributions.
    • Medical Plan: Creatacor offers 4 medical insurance plans provided by CDPHP. Plan benefits and costs vary, but all have options to cover the individual employee, employee & spouse, employee & children, or family and include prescription drug coverage. Creatacor contributes to all medical plans, with the remaining balance collected via weekly payroll deduction.
    • Dental Plan: Creatacor offers a dental insurance plan provided by Guardian. The plan has options to cover the individual employee, employee & spouse, employee & children, or family. Plan costs are collected via weekly payroll deduction.
    • Other Benefits: Creatacor also offers an EAP plan, flex spending account, life insurance, and Aflac insurance which includes: disability insurance, accident indemnity, hospital protection, and cancer indemnity. Life insurance and Alfac premiums are collected via weekly payroll deduction.
