Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager of carrier operations, including negotiating rates with carriers and coordinating shipments with customers.
• Work with Business Development team to ensure full communication on customers loads are understood.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers and customers to ensure high levels of service and customer satisfaction. Assist with any escalated carrier issues as needed.
• Assist SLG Billing Department with carrier issues as needed.
• Monitor SLG Operations email to ensure all communication is being responded to in a timely manner.
• Work with Claims and Compliance department on specific load issues and communication as needed.
• Provide timely and accurate communication to customers and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, and issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all load transactions and activities within Turvo.
• Assist with freight quoting as needed.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 1 years’ experience specifically with domestic freight brokerage preferred
• 1 years’ experience in customer service
• Excellent communication skills with both team members and customers.
• Strong negotiation and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transportation management software.
