Zachry Industrial, Inc. is currently seeking a Logistics Manager II to support upcoming project needs. This position will be inititally based out of Zachry's Corporate Office in San Antonio, TX, but will require relocation to the Houston area within 12-24 months.
Position Summary
The Logistics Manager serves as the point of contact for Engineered Equipment shipment methodologies to support Project requirements and schedules. Evaluates and recommends transportation modes (including international shipping if required) to support Project. Coordinates routing and shipments with external authorities, agencies as required. Develops and gains approval for Project Logistics Plan by all applicable parties. Interfaces and coordinates shipments and routing with; internal departments, external agencies, project clients, project partners, and suppliers. Coordinates and communicates delivery schedules and requirements with Materials Management and Project Management. Monitors and reports on; shipping schedules, transportation costs and metrics of Project Logistics Plan. Logistics Manager will have varying work locations including; significant time at ZII Home Office or Project assignments, Engineering offices as required. Time may also be required at Equipment or Transportation providers’ facilities.
