WCW Inc.,(Natural Form/Big Mattress Co) is Family-owned manufacturing Company for both medical and consumer mattress. Productions ship domestically and worldwide.
This position requires a leader able to work as a team, with good communication skills among fellow employees, customers and vendors. This position requires strong computer skills, problem solving & critical thinking, and attention to detail. A minimum of one years’ experience is preferred. Must be able to become Fork Truck Certified.
This position will be staffed either Mon- Fri. 7am - 3:30pm. WCW operations are from 6am -4:30pm. There will be times when OT is required to complete deadlines. Notice is often short(same day).
JOB DESCRIPTION – Logistics Supervisor (working position)
Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management. This position reports to: Manufacturing Coordinator.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES –
-Computer Skills
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders to meet customer expectations
- Supervise a team of warehouse employees, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Monitor productivity and quality standards to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Knowledge of and enforce safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, and customer service to ensure smooth operations of receiving and shipping product.
-Follow protocols for loading and unloading materials and product, operating equipment and other warehouse duties.
-Maintain accurate shipping records.
QUALIFICATIONS –
- Previous experience in shipping frieght
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping/receiving,
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
Potential for advancement for right individual with leadership abilities and able to motivate and develop strong team members.
