Loss Control Representative provides loss control assistance to agents and supports insured clients within an assigned territory. Evaluates, develops, and implements mitigation recommendations. Being a Loss Control Representative creates and implements safety programs and performs accident investigations. Prevents injury by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards with insured accounts. Additionally, Loss Control Representative complies with federal, state, and local safety regulations. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Loss Control Representative work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role.     What does an Insurance Loss Control Surveyor do? 
    Our surveyors meet with the policyholder to photograph and evaluate the overall condition of the insured’s operations, buildings, and/or premises, and provide specific information to the insurance companies underwriters.
    • Scheduling appointments with property owners
    • Photograph and evaluate the overall condition of a building
    • Effectively communicating via phone, email, and face to face discussions
    • Observe commercial and residential properties for potential areas of risk
    • Complete a brief report of your observations and upload photos to the field service platform 
    • Follow carrier instructions and maintain quality standards
    • Maintain confidentiality and act with integrity
    • Local travel to perform field inspections
    Qualifications for the ideal Independent Contractor:
    • Car, Microsoft computer, smartphone, and reliable home internet
    • Observant and curious
    • Skills in time management and verbal/ written communications
    • Basic computer skills, typing, uploading, and downloading documents, email, Microsoft Outlook and Word, as well as using the internet.
    • Background in construction, fire & safety, hospitality, real estate or previous military service is beneficial, but not required.
    • Successful candidate must live in the geographic area advertised!!
