Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our team. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting properties, identifying pest issues, and implementing effective pest control solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of pest control techniques and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest infestations - Determine the type of pests present and the extent of the infestation - Develop and implement customized pest control plans based on the specific needs of each property - Apply pesticides and other pest control treatments to eliminate pests - Install and maintain pest control devices, such as traps and baits - Advise customers on proper sanitation practices to prevent future pest problems - Document all services provided and maintain accurate records - Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions Experience: - Previous experience in pest control or a related field is preferred - Knowledge of common pests, their behavior, and effective treatment methods - Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in pest control - Basic understanding of lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance - Ability to drive to various locations throughout the day - Experience operating farm machinery is a plus Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills to identify pests and develop appropriate treatment plans - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and explain treatment procedures - Sales skills to promote additional services or products as needed - Detail-oriented with the ability to follow instructions accurately - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require bending, lifting, or crawling If you are passionate about pest control and enjoy working outdoors, we encourage you to apply for this position.
