Loss Control Supervisor supervises safety programs and performs accident investigations regarding complicated or special accounts; reports hazards found. Prevents injury by identifying and anticipating concerns and hazards with insured accounts of high complexity and exposure. Being a Loss Control Supervisor recommends mitigation solutions. Supports and ensures qualified loss control service to agents and insured clients within an assigned territory. Additionally, Loss Control Supervisor promotes awareness and conducts safe work environment training. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. We are seeking a mature, responsible, and experienced candidate to supervise work activities of janitorial personnel in multiple commercial and industrial establishments in the greater Richland, Ashland and Wayne County areas including Mansfield, Ashland, Lexington, and Wooster areas etc.
Supervise work activities of janitorial personnel in multiple commercial and industrial establishments in the greater Richland, Ashland and Wayne County areas including Mansfield, Ashland, Lexington, and Wooster areas etc. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO ALL OF THE LOCATIONS LISTED ON A NIGHTLY BASIS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION. You will also be responsible to clean an assigned section of a medical office building in Mansfield or Ashland.
Additional Responsibilities: Assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding janitorial services and take corrective action. Train new employees on proper methods and procedures. Make sure accounts are stocked with supplies and equipment, take periodic inventories, and recommend corrective action. Cover open sections in accounts for absent employees(on these nights your hours may increase to 4-6 hours). Starting Salary range is $15.00- $16.00 per hour depending on experience. This is a Part-Time position working approximately 3-6 hours per evening Monday-Friday after 7pm with rotating weekends (You must be able to work Every other weekend).
Other Duties:
1) Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.
2) Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
3) Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
4) Records personnel data on specified forms.
5) Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing.
6) Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems.
7) Assists with start ups of new accounts and fills in for openings and call-offs at accounts
8) Clean assigned account
