Performs routine inspections and maintenance on scanner and archives imaging data. Additionally, MRI Technologist typically requires an associate degree in a related area. Summary of Job Function: Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures within the scope defined by Regulatory and Departmental QC standards. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Job Requirements: Trade/Vocational training in Radiologic Technology. 1-3 years general radiology experience. New Jersey State Licensure required. ARRT or ARMRIT required. BLS required.
