Basic Job Duties

The Sales position is responsible and accountable for the sales of precision machined parts and promotion of the overall business strategies of the company to new and existing customers. This individual will need to be motivated and committed to meeting customer’s needs, growing market share, maintaining established levels of gross profit and exceeding sales targets.

Outside Sales

· Represents the company for the sale of precision machining services

· Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management accordingly.

· Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines under pressure.

· Strong selling, prospecting, and cold calling skills required to successfully achieve sales quotas and targets.

· Maintains sales management information for all customers

· Manage market awareness and providing calls and lost sales reports.

· Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to management.

· Maintains and updates customer prospect list on an ongoing basis.

· Maintain relationship with customer base and provide quotes and follow up in a timely manner.

· Perform any and all other requests deemed necessary that will promote and grow the business.

· Require travelling 2 weeks a month locally.

· Turn call reports to management in a monthly bases

· Maintains a professional appearance at all times.

Inside Sales

· Receive and enter customer orders and confirm all details.

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Understand the impact of Quality Standards (ISO-9001, AS9100) on company processes.

· Strong understanding of CJP capabilities and capacities

· Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions

· Ability to work flexible hours

· Excellent customer relationship skills

· Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 5 years’ experience in sales preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
