A. Role:
The operator is responsible for running production. He/she is responsible for inspecting parts that have been run, and making changes to the machine as needed. They must be able to read a print of a part and produce the part for the customer while maintaining the tolerances that the customer has requested.
B. Responsibilities include:
1. Running parts to the print provided by the customer
2. Inspect parts and make offsets as required to maintain dimensions to customer print.
3. Running production at the current routing rate.
4. Inspect part and fill out pip as required.
5. Inspect and replace tooling as required.
6. Keeping fluids in the machine.
7. Cleaning work area
8. Properly filling out paperwork/JobBoss Data entry daily.'
