Machine Operator Supervisor supervises and coordinates the work of employees who set up and operate machines. Prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. Being a Machine Operator Supervisor ensures machine function and output is according to specifications. Monitors and evaluates production records and reports findings to management. Additionally, Machine Operator Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. May require certain certifications in field. The Machine Operator Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Overview:
We are seeking an experienced brake operator to join our tem. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.Job Skills & Qualifications:
Applicant must be able to operate Press Brake/Shear machine and use a CNC controller to input information.
Applicant must understand program editing, basic machine functions, machine adjustments, math and dimensional knowledge
Must have the ability to read and understand blueprints and utilize information to make parts.
Applicant must be able to configure bend allowances for steel, must also be able to read a tape measure, calipers, and other tools.
Applicant must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely, as well as perform required routine maintenance.
We prefer applicants to have at least (1) year of CNC Press/Brake experience.
Applicant must be able to work and complete tasks under minimal supervision.
Must be able to safely operate equipment, overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, etc.
We are looking for a responsible & dependable candidate with a team player attitude.
EEOC - Pre-employment Drug Screening is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
