We have an immediate need for a CNC Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to set up, operate, perform machining operations according to print specifications.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set-up jobs on the machine, including; loading and securely fixturing the work-pieces onto the work table; Understand and make adjustments to hold geometric dimensions and tolerances, Experience with machining large parts Read blueprints to program and run work-pieces. Perform part inspections using calibrated measuring instruments such as outside and inside micrometers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

3 years experience is desired but not required.

Prior experience as a CNC Vertical Lathe Operator is desired in this role. Toshiba experience a plus.

If no experience must be capable to learn rapidly and have mechanical inclination

Ability to review part prints and assure machining accuracy

Ability to read and use machine shop measurement tools accurately

Must be able to read and understand a computer-generated program for a Fanuc control.
