IMM Quality Boat Lifts is seeking an experienced automatic saw operator for busy manufacturing shop. Position involves working with automatic band saws, hydraulic punch/shearing equipment and various other cutting machinery. Attention to detail and safety consciousness is required. Candidate must be able to read tape measure and calipers accurately.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to unloading raw materials when they arrive and storing them on their designated racks. Cutting materials to length according to work order instructions and moving them to their next operation. Cleaning, lubricating and properly maintaining all machinery in the department and informing your supervisor of any issues with the machines or equipment. Keeping track of materials used and reordering daily to maintain stock. These responsibilities are shared among the department team and as such require you to communicate effectively with your coworkers. Looking for a self starter who can focus on completing the task at hand.
Forklift experience is not mandatory but is a huge plus. Training is not only available but will be very detailed and ongoing through your first few weeks.
