Machine Operator Supervisor jobs in Oakland, CA

We are Looking for Machine Operators. Familiarity with operating Machinery and an understanding of measurement hand tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Pin Gages, Ext..) is helpful. The ability to speak Spanish is also helpful.

Hours: 7 AM-3:30PM

Machines that need Operators:

• ​​​​​​Multi-spindle Lathes
• Brown & Sharpe Screw Machines
• CNC Lathes
• CNC Mills
• Manual Lathes

Responsibilities:

• Review samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications and output
• Take measurements of machined products
• monitor machine while working to issues or out of tolerance dimensions
• Check output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects
• Perform Machine cleaning

Helpful Skills:

• Ability to use precision tools (e.g. Calipers) to take accurate measurements
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
