Machine Operator Supervisor jobs in Salisbury, NC

***We're looking for eager and experienced machine operators**

• Schedule: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm (some overtime required)
• Pay Rate: $17-19/hr DOE

Job Responsibilities & Description for Machine Operator:

• Operate various machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and detect any deviations or malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts, to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues, optimize production processes, and meet production targets.

Job Requirements for Machine Operator:

Required candidate skills include but are not limited to:

• Experience with manufacturing operations with automated machinery.
• Comes from a background of high-volume production (>1000 pcs/shift)
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve machine issues as they occur.
• A working knowledge of hand tools to do basic adjustments and repairs.
• Familiarity with what sensors do and how hydraulics and Pneumatics (air) are used on machines.
• Thorough understanding of lock-out tag-out procedures.
• Can operate a computer at a basic level.
• Able to read instructions and procedures and fill out forms and paperwork.
• Forklift Experience is preferred.
• Ability to move around actively inside and around the machine throughout the shift.
• Coming from a background of working with teammates on the same machine is a huge bonus.
• Able to lift and move material up to 35lbs alone and 50lbs with help
• Comfortable to work in a warehouse environment with no central Heating/Cooling.
