Position: Gift Shop Supervisor

Department: Hotel

Wage: 50,000/yr.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the daily supervision of all aspects of the Gift Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility included, but not limited to:

• Maintain appropriate staffing levels in the Gift Shop, by assisting with staff selection, training, scheduling, evaluating, and counseling Team Members.
• Assume duties of sales clerk in the event of staff shortages or emergencies.
• Monitor and verify procedures and processes to ensure all internal controls are followed; sign off on forms requiring Supervisor signature.
• Respond and resolve special requests Guest complaints, and inquiries in a calm, prompt, and courteous manner.
• Assist in ordering and maintaining appropriate stock.
• Inspect merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed.
• Review timesheets on a daily basis.
• Prepare and submit accurate and thorough departmental records and reports.
• Conduct regular inventory and maintain inventory through approved controls and procedures..
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Education: High School diploma, or Equivalent required.

2. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

3. Be at least 18 years of age.

4. Able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S.

5. Participate and pass pre-employment drug screening and background investigation to obtain and maintain a valid Gaming License.
