- Perform hands-on mechanical work as necessary, including diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Coordinate with vendors to order parts and supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in vehicle maintenance
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar role preferred
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency in reading schematics and electrical diagrams
- Familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform equipment repairs using power tools and soldering equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
