Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines. Being a Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members.     This position occupies a key role in the manufacturing team of the Motion NEMA Motors. You will be responsible for leading the Ozark motor plant engineering and reliability department in accordance with company policies, guidelines and procedures. Be a champion of continuous improvement and well versed in the principles of Lean Flex Flow while continuing to foster an environment in which Safety of employees is the top priority.

    Production Development Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Oversee maintenance technicians and ensure all preventative and predictive maintenance activities are completed and equipment repair is done efficiently
    • Provide leadership, direction, training and administration to maintenance technicians across three shifts
    • Ensure that the maintenance department provides customer service to all plant operations and understands the importance of working together with each department
    • Participate as a leader in safety meetings and ensure that safety concerns receive the highest priority
    • Oversee and direct equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance
    • Support and enhance the maintenance aspects of ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and environmental standards
    • Be proactive in all Lean/Flex Flow projects
    • Shared responsibility of maintaining all PM's
    • Enforce general handbook policies fairly and consistently
    • Work overtime and weekends as needed
    Your background

    • Bachelors with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate's with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 6 years experience.
    • 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with supervisor experience - Preferred.
    • Knowledge of the fundamentals of industrial electrical application, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, CAD, TPM - Preferred.
    • Certifications in thermography, vibration, ultrasonic analysis
    • Maintenance and Reliability Professional - Preferred.
    • PLC programming experience.
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
