CNC Plant Maintenance Technician

The Machining Group (TMG) is a leading player in the machining and fabrication industry, committed to delivering high quality machining and fabrication work to our diverse clientele. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and meticulous CNC Maintenance Technician to lead our preventative maintenance program and ensure our machines are running efficiently at TJ Machine & Tool in Azle, Texas.

We offer $24 to start, depending on experience, uniforms/coveralls are provided, company health and dental benefits & company events.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment using hand and power tools.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems.
• Repair and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns. Repair/rebuild/replace parts where required.
• Determine which machines, techniques, and tools to use when completing jobs.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM) of various types of machines including determining what maintenance is required.
• Track and document PM reports and downtime.
• Conduct general facility maintenance tasks.
• Conduct regular building inspections
• Develop and Coordinate a Preventative Maintenance Plan and Schedule
• Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
• Work safely with a range of hand tools.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• 2 to 4 years' experience working as a CNC Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment or similar job.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC Lathe and Milling machinery is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills working within a team-based environment.
• Strong ability to work independently to complete assignments promptly while maintaining the high standards required in our industry.
• Experience using lifting devices (cranes and fork-lifts).

• Valid Driver’s License is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
