Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines. Being a Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. The Frankfort Plant Board has an opening for a full-time Plant Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will supervise and maintain overall maintenance involving maintaining services for water production and control equipment.
Qualified applicants must have a high school education or equivalent, plus 5 years industrial maintenance experience and 12 to 18 months management and/or project management experience. Must possess and maintain an electrician and/or master electrician license in accordance with Kentucky KRS Chapter 27A.
We offer $26.34 to $32.93 hourly, plus an excellent benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision insurance and membership in the Kentucky Retirement System. Compensation will be based upon qualifications.
