Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor jobs in Lansing, MI

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily activities of CNC Machinists, Setup Technicians, and Welders.
• Review all new machining and welding jobs.
• Provide required information to Project Managers for the quoting process.
• Provide general support to production supervisors and team, as needed.
• Manage the tooling inventory and budget for the Machine Shop.
• Ensure production, safety, and quality procedures are being followed.
• Assess, train, and coach to improve team's overall performance.
• Coordinate process flow with other departments.

Qualifications

Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years supervisory experience.
• Strong CNC programing skills on mills and lathes.
• Experience with CAD-CAM software.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work 1st shift hours of Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
