Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines. Being a Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Description
Summary/Objective: The Machine Technician position conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service in addition to ensuring trays are produced in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePrepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runsPerforms mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machinesReads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceComply with OSHA safety and health rulesStart-up any machine that has been taken out of operationChanging rolls in a timely/continuous manner to ensure process does not impeded productionOperation of machinery while in production, including the continued inspection of machine parameters and data tracking of parametersContinuous communication with production workers as well as fellow machine technicians to ensure machine functions as normalDaily completion of relevant reportsUpholding all Clearly Clean Products standards including quality, conduct and production standardsEnsuring trays are produced within Clearly Clean Products quality standards and in the most efficient and effective way possible

Work Environment
The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations.? The employee is?occasionally?exposed to a variety of extreme conditions.? The noise level of the work environment and the job site can be loud.
Physical Demands
Walks, sits, stands, bends, twists, lifts, and moves continuously during working hours; is subject to lifting over 30 pounds; is subject to repetitive motions.Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position; the hours will vary based on your scheduled shift; minimum 40-hours per week.

Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalentTechnical training; exposure to high-speed equipment2 years of related experience in packing machines/production machines
