Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Machine Shop helper to join our team. As a Shop helper you will play a vital role in supporting our shop operations and ensuring the smooth flow of production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for machining and a desire to grow their skills in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Duties:
This person must be able to perform daily task of, but not limited to:
1. Properly receive and stage and label material from vendors
2. Help shop with maintenance of CNC Machines
3. Maintenance of the shop (taking out trash, organizing bins, mopping, etc...)
4. Help count, sort , label and package finished machined parts
5. Must be able to drive to customer's and vendor's locations, if needed
6. Assist the shop as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
