Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor jobs in Rock Island, IL

Team Staffing is seeking general Machine Maintenance candidates. Experience in working with manufacturing machines including CNC machines and building and machine electrical required.

Requirements for Machine Maintenance:

• Mechanical and/or Electrical maintenance experience.
• Technical aptitude with a systemic approach to problem solving.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with good troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to stand for up 10 hours per day.
• Required to stand for long periods of time and manually lift/move/manipulate parts up to 50 pounds or use cranes/hoists to move heavier materials.
• Temperatures may be extreme; elevated in the summer, cold in the winter.
• Needs to be able to cope with stressors and demands that are associated with the job and/or the work environment so that acceptable and defined levels of performance are maintained.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience required.
• Candidates must be 18 years old to apply and have reliable transportation to and from work.

Compensation and Benefits for Machine Maintenance:

• Pay range from $20.00-$27.00/hr. based on shift placement and experience.
• All shifts available.
• Advancement opportunities available, depending on performance and capabilities.
• Overtime and Saturdays are as needed, based on business needs.

Responsibilities for Machine Maintenance:

• Qualified candidates will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine problems.
• Repairs and maintains mechanically and electrically complex controlled production machinery and related equipment.
• Responsible for tracking and performing preventative maintenance in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
