Our company has an immediate opening for a Body Shop Technician in Santa Maria, CA.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Fleet Body Shop Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition. This involves working with a variety of materials such as metal, plastic, and fiberglass, as well as using specialized tools and equipment. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect vehicles for any additional damage caused by the accident
• Remove damaged parts from vehicles and replace them with new or reconditioned parts
• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing rust, sanding, masking, etc.
• Damage repairs
• Welding
• Frame straightening
• Mechanical repairs
• Reassemble parts removed during repair process
• Perform quality control checks on finished product

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
