Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor jobs in Vineland, NJ
Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding various production machines and equipment. Supervises the maintenance and repair of pumps, grinders, mixers, and a variety of other machines. Being a Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor oversees the setup and use of tools and equipment before production use in order to ensure the optimum level of safety. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking landscaper to join our property maintenance team. This is a daytime position Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturday's, shift time starts at 7:15am. In this role, you will be required to work in a team environment and report to work each day on time. Applicants should have some experience and skills in operating lawn equipment. You must have the physical stamina to perform these tasks in all climates of weather (rain, heat, wind, cold, etc.) Experienced with valid driver's license.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervising, coordinating and directing the activities of landscape maintenance crews.
- Ensuring that all safety policies and procedures are followed in the landscape maintenance crews
- Operate a commercial standing mower, weed wacker, edger and blower
- Able to stand/walk/kneel for extended period of time
- Mowing, edging and fertilizing lawns
- Weeding and mulching landscape beds
- Trimming small trees, hedges and shrubs
- Removal of unwanted debris
- Planting shrubs, flowers and trees
- Driving equipment from site to site
Pay will be based off driving experience.
