Machine Shop Maintenance Supervisor jobs in Williamsport, PA

Primary Responsibilities Include

• Assist the production manager to develop and manage the production schedule and capacity plan for operations.
• Create and assemble travelers.
• Support Purchasing activities and direct purchasing of some materials and certs.
• Manage some outside services.
• Maintain and generate weekly and monthly machine time forecasts.
• Provide assistance to management and plant personnel for operations.
• Work closely sales calculate cost/lead time estimates for repeat orders.

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of job boss application.
• Understanding of manufacturing, machining processes, and finishes.
• Full knowledge of machining applications, tooling criteria and process documentation.
• Knowledge of CNC turning, CNC milling, Wire EDM and Manual Machining.
• Materials knowledge, i.e. steel bar stock, forgings, casting, physical properties and their various certifications.
• Blueprint reading including working knowledge of geometric tolerances and hard to find specifications.
• Basic knowledge of Metrology—the use and application of gages.
• Experience with optimizing inventory levels along with implementing preventive systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
