Diesel Truck Shop Supervisor

Pay Rate: $65K - $75K / Year Great Benefits!

Responsibilities - Diesel Truck Shop Supervisor:

• 
  Oversee day to day operations of a diesel maintenance shop.
• Supervise, train, and coordinate work of mechanics and technicians.
• Maintain inventory of replacement parts, tools, and equipment required for operations.
• Ensure that preventative maintenance and repairs meet all quality and safety standards.
• Handle customer concerns one-on-one
• Schedule shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of customer vehicles and for ensuring work is done expeditiously and correctly
• Implement and maintain an effective dispatch system
• Assist Technicians as needed
• Complete paperwork accurately, completely, timely, and legibly
• Quality control - looking over repairs to see that they are 100%
• Ensure that cleanliness of the shop is maintained

Qualifications/Requirements – Diesel Truck Shop Supervisor:

• 
  Diesel Truck experience required
• Must have knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Excellent supervisory and organizational skills
• A Certificate in Automotive & Diesel Technology is preferred
• Experience in customer relations and handling customer concerns on a one-on-one basis
• The ability to establish and maintain a good working relationship with all dealership personnel, members of his/her team, and other employees in the service and parts department
• Attention to detail and excellent people skills are a must
• CDK experience a plus
• Valid driver's license, preferably CDL – Class A
• Good work ethic and problem-solving skills
• A positive attitude and works well as part of a team
