Direct and supervise the activities of the machine shop in such a way as to satisfy company expectations for productivity, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Successful execution will require in-depth involvement in all department activities including scheduling and related paperwork, CNC programming, employee training, mentoring and counseling, machinery and tooling optimization, timeliness and adherence to scheduling requirements, workplace organization and housekeeping, and close collaboration with neighboring departments to ensure operational continuity.
