Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Shop Manager to oversee our shop operations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing shop activities and ensuring efficient workflow.

Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day shop operations, including scheduling, backlog management, and quality control.
- Manage shop personnel to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Manages utilization of milling machines, welding equipment, etc.
- Works with sales department to develop quotes for customer requests

- Works with community and training centers to recruit employees

Qualifications:

- Previous management experience in a machine shop or equivalent environment with knowledge of quality control processes.
- Proficiency in using tools such as micrometers, milling machines, welding equipment
- Strong understanding of various steels and other materials.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
