Concrete Cutters/Construction Workers

We are looking for a few hard-working Concrete Cutters to join our team! As a Concrete Cutter at our company, you will be responsible for assisting in cutting and coring concrete, demolition, as well as concrete polishing and coatings. We are expecting you to have great physical stamina and be a reliable worker.

Construction Worker Job Responsibilities :

• Understands construction safety plans, and quality plans.
• Loads and unloads tools and building materials into work vehicles.
• Follows all local, state, and national building codes and regulations.
• Follows written and verbal instructions from the construction manager.
• Uses concrete saws, walk behind saws, core drills and construction equipment to complete projects.
• Drives work vehicles to and from construction sites.
• Reports any issues to the construction manager.
• Adheres to all safety rules and regulations.
• Being professional and representing our company with dignity.
• Being available to travel within the state, we are home most weekends.
• Knowledgeable about concrete and construction.

Work Hours and Benefits:

We are currently seeking full-time construction workers for a permanent position. Our start times may vary depending on the location of the job, and our work week typically consists of a minimum of 5-6 days, with an average of 50-60 hours per week. While we are usually home most weekends, some job sites may require us to work through the weekend in order to complete the project. We offer $40 a day Per Diem as well as provide the lodging when traveling out of town. We also provide a membership to Appleton Clinics, which is a Clinic where you can get free doctors visits, medicine, blood work and so much more! You will also receive paid time off and opportunities for advancement.

Construction Worker Qualifications and Skills:

• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crouching, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 75 pounds.
• Communicates effectively, Bilingual is a plus.
• Works well independently and with a team.
• Knows construction math skills, including how to convert quantities, take measurements, and solve basic equations.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate degree or construction apprenticeship is preferred but not necessary.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is necessary.
• Past experience in Concrete Cutting & Coring preferred but willing to train.
• Past experience in Concrete Polishing and Coatings preferred but willing to train.
