Machine Tool Cutting Operator/Tender jobs in Jamestown, NY

We are seeking a highly skilled Tool Maker with at least 5 years of experience for our clients direct hire, full-time opening in the Falconer, NY area. This great opportunity offers:

•An hourly pay rate of $24 - $28/hr. (depending on experience)

The successful candidate will have the following abilities to produce tight tolerance products:

•MUST – have the ability to grind profiles, inside & outside diameters, top & bottom surfaces

1. NC ID Grinder

2. Centerless Grinder

3. Profile Grinder

4. Manual Surface Grinder

5. Automatic Surface Grinder

6. Rotary Grinder

(Experience with ALL or some of the above is a PLUS)

•MUST – have the ability to operate manual mills, drills, steel cutting saws, & tapping machine

•Supervisor experience is a PLUS

•Inspect & measure finished products & compare them with print requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

•Prepare & load raw materials/parts onto the machines

•Ability to handle more than one job at a time

•Make necessary adjustments to produce a better result

•Check & maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
