Machine Tool Cutting Operator/Tender jobs in Middlesex, NJ

Primal Custom Cutting/Tidal Seafood is hiring personnel for cleaning, scaling and filleting. All experience levels considered, knowledge of sanitation, safety and food handling procedures or a willingness to learn. Must be able to work in a cold temperature and wet environment. We offer a competitive hourly wage commensurate with skill and experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Ability to cut, trim, bone, fillet, loin and grade all types of seafood
• Trimming all types of seafood
• Ability to read production tickets
• Ability to estimate needed materials to complete orders
• Able to portion cut to customers’ specifications
• Must have ability to work with knives and electric scalers
• Assist in daily cleanup and washdown procedures
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of work area and equipment that are used for cutting and packaging
• Must be able to frequently lift 50lbs. and occasionally up to 90lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.05 - $24.60 per hour

Experience:
