KOMO Machine, Inc. is a subsidiary of the well-known multi-national corporation PMC Global Inc., Sun Valley, CA. KOMO designs and manufactures high quality precision computer numerically controlled (CNC) routers and machining centers. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team. As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. Your role will be crucial in maintaining an efficient supply chain and optimizing inventory control.

Responsibilities:

· Source and evaluate suppliers of mechanical and electrical components based on price, quality, and delivery speed

· Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and payment terms

· Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the production team to ensure adequate stock levels

· Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to generate purchase orders and track order status

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their purchasing needs and provide timely solutions

· Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information

· Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery of goods

Skills:

· Strong knowledge of purchasing processes, supply chain management, and inventory control

· Negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms

· Strong Microsoft Office experience

· Familiarity inventory management system

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
